Style description
Orient dance comes from the middle-east, from Africa, Turkey, India, Iraq and other countries and comes in various types such as Indian temple dance, Persian dance, tribal dance, Just Jhoom, Bolywood, Tanoura or Arabic folk dances, etc. Oriental dancing has become globally popular. It has many names; in the Czech Republic we call it břišní tanec, in the USA belly dance, in France danceduventre, ciftetelii in Greece and Raqs Sharqi in Egypt.
GROUPS AND SMALL GROUPS:
Additional specification: the make-up is very important.
One should pay attention to proper clothing and covering of the intimate parts of the body according to the age. Elements arousing eroticism or sensuality are forbidden in children groups. Solos are allowed but cannot prevail. Synchronization of the contestants is evaluated. The ground elements cannot be longer than 2x20 seconds.

The contestants try to impress the jury with their performance accompanied by music.
